Welcome to the online space of Heather Church, a dedicated Bay Mills Community College employee, adjunct faculty member, and graduate student at Michigan State University in the HALE, MA online program. As a proud tribal member of the Bay Mills Indian Community, Heather is deeply committed to the growth and success of tribal community colleges and universities.
 

Heather teaches First Year Experience, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet Design & Management, and she is passionate about creating a holistic student support system that nurtures both academic and personal growth. She believes in the power of reflective learning, where students can draw on their own experiences, as well as those of others, to deepen their understanding of the material. With a special focus on the unique needs of tribal students, Heather’s mission is to empower individuals in their academic journeys and guide them toward success in higher education.
